Multigenerationally important Games?

What games do you think we’re like multigenerationally important games? Things that transcend the game itself and affect far more than the people who played it?

I’ll start with two obvious ones.

Warcraft 3, and Arma II. Both have been the direct birthplace of several of the largest Genres of video games today.

Warcraft, through mods, have birth to Mobas (League and DOTA) and Arma spawned Day Z, and several other mods that became PubG, and therefore also Fortnite; as well as Extraction Shooters like ARC Raiders and Tarkov.

Two games that even for people who never played them changed the course of history for everyone.

I have formative memories of helping my grandpa learn to play SuperMarioBros on the NES he got us for Christmas.
